This study aims to identify the educational programs implemented at the Lokananta Gallery, analyze its role as an educational medium, and examine the challenges affecting its function within the context of cultural tourism. As part of the revitalization of Indonesia’s first music recording studio, the gallery plays a significant role in conveying the nation’s musical history through visual, narrative, information technology, and interactive exhibition approaches. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data analysis conducted through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the main program consists of guided tours utilizing narrative and visual approaches, complemented by public discussions. The gallery functions as an interactive cultural learning space but faces challenges, including limited technology, insufficient educational formats, and suboptimal access to digital archives. This study contributes to the development of a gallery-based educational model and offers strategic recommendations to enhance the inclusivity, participation, and sustainability of Lokananta Gallery’s role as a cultural educational medium.
